Standing among ruins in absolute zero
Time is erasing the delusive circles in the dust
Serenity is fading, wounded, warmth is fading by its side

Leaving only emptiness and pain
And with flames of hatred I scorched the earth upon which I fed
Melting every piece of hope left before me
Tearing me apart with every single breath

My hands buried in the ashes, the serpent's venomous fangs sink even deeper
And the pain deserts me, even though I try to hold it back

Nihil invenio nisi ruinas ubi omnis spes dissolvit
Et denigravi lumen, quod conscios inluminat gradus

Will I find anything but ruins where all hope dissolves
And I blackened the light which enlights the conscious steps of I

And behold, the stone can bleed as well
I reached so far that I lost myself and now I rove
My path and destination remain hidden and unseen
I wander through endless apathy, my blood is soaking it with hatred
The wind casts away the ashes of my soul and breathlessness chokes again

But instead of power, smoke I reach, burning, suffocating smoke
The voice of fire dumbs me, evil fire, toxic, blue
Beyond the landscapes of rancor lurks a desolate land

et horrores delictorum meorum puniunt me et venena eorum conspuunt in faciem meam
His ego me opponam, sed qui fugiam aut vincam

But who is woundng and what oozes from the stone that bleeds again
And my wisdom vapours as the reverse dissolving of the gold in sulphur
In life's melting breath, in death's cradle
But my sight presses on and I recognize the sunset, though a sunset colourless and grey / void of colour
Trough the monochrome scorned landscape the salamander creeps in fire so it can resurrect the phoenix from the ashes

Sed qui vulnerat, et quod ex saxo adhuc sanguinante manat?
Et nebulat sapientiam meam sicut e contrario dissolutio auri in sulphure
In vitae flatu, in cunabulis mortis
Sed urget visus meus et occasum agnosco, solis occasum sine colore et griseo, colore carens
Alveus monochrome contempta topiarum salamandra igne serpit ut phoenix ex cinere resurrecturus

And the fire spils the water,
and the stone is bleeding in flames
When was I abandoned by divinity
shall fire ever be tamed
Show me a clue, reveal thy path to me,
I listen to the wind, I am led by the water
The elemental fire I internalize, enchaining it in my cold heart
